OK so you have picked the online poker site which you want to give a try....what do you do next ?
First click on the download button and install the software, this will put a shortcut icon on your desktop so you will only need to do this once.
Next you will need to register an account, all the sites i mention will let you play in " PLAY " money mode without having to fill in too many details, this can be an excellent learning tool as you still play against other real player's ( please bear in mind that as it's not real cash player's do tend to go a bit crazy )
During the registration process you will have to pick a nickname....this is what the other players will see on their screens, you may have to try a few options before finding one that hasn't been used.
Once you are ready for " REAL " play you will have to open a real account and deposit some cash, this can seem a bit scary at first but don't worry you're money is protected by the latest encryption security and is completely safe.
At this point you will probably notice that your balance is shown in dollars, this is normal as all online poker rooms will use this as the table currency, when you withdraw it will get converted back to Pounds.
